Well who knew that one can write a book waiting at the airport of all places. What happened o writers seclusion , quiet and tranquility of the place . I have just decided I will write a book on ...art of waiting at the airport. Among children screaming and running heater skelter ..among mothers chasing them , among not so old people going in a wheel chair and me always wondering about why they are there. Among announcements saying 'any jet airways guests for Hyderabad ' ...among diffent coloured bags and suits of the elite. Among air hotness and front desk people trying to have the smile even when they have to repeat the same thing over and over again . Among forgotten calls and ' time pass' calls as some of us have nothing better to do. Some bright faces in anticipation of the moment that awaits them when they land . Airports are no longer elite territory which they were earlier. Airports have become more middle class than before which is good in most ways. But this has led to middle class becoming more elite , it emas they are more conscious of what they wear and what lugged they carry . Some of them still manage to carry the heavy bags which they don't want to or cannot check in . Emotions floating around the airport that I have been able to catch range from boredom, anxiety , envy to thoughtfulness .
